Kuadobox which was established in 2014, is a very new start-up concept for gift experience base in Vietnam. Kuadobox does not sell products, they sell the Box of Experiences and bring joy and freedom to customers when they buy the gift boxes for themselves or for their family and friends. After the success MVP, Kuadobox come to us with the expectation to revamp all platforms in order to bring more exciting experiences to the market.
“Are we selling single item of activities or selling a box?”. It’s a simple question but complicated issue that we need to solve. Many of our users are confused when buying on the old approach. They think they only buy an activity only with $XXX amount, but they don’t aware that they buy a whole package with many exciting activities in which they can choose whatever they love. That is the most tricky UX design and system management we need to solve.
With the challenge mentioned above, we try few prototypes to approach and discuss with client on, we try to see how we react and use it beforehand to refine more issues as well as arising challenges to make the product easy to use and to achieve the sale target.
We also refine the art direction for the layout to bring out the new structure to deliver.
Mobile First Approach
Focus market segment is the white collar and young generation, who live freedom and always active. Therefore we choose the approach mobile first, all of our best experiences we aim to deliver on the mobile first hand and adapt it back to the website desktop. With this approach we not losing any experiences because of the limitation of mobile performance compare with old approach that work with the desktop and optimize to the mobile layout.
